Let There Never Be a Day I Don’t Praise God: Embracing His Breath, Mercy, and Grace Daily

Let There Never Be a Day I Don’t Rise to Give God Praise

There’s a certain kind of strength that comes from waking up with gratitude. Before the world starts pulling at us, before responsibilities stack up, before our minds begin racing—there’s a sacred moment where we get to choose praise. And for me, I never want there to be a day where I rise without giving God the honor He deserves.

Not because life is perfect.

Not because everything is easy.

But because God is faithful.

Every single morning.

The Gift of Breath: A Daily Reminder of God’s Presence

The very first miracle of the day is one we often overlook: breath.

Scripture tells us, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord” (Psalm 150:6).

If I woke up breathing, I woke up blessed. If I opened my eyes, God wasn’t done with me. If my heart is still beating, purpose is still calling.

Breath is not random.

Breath is not guaranteed.

Breath is a gift.

And with every inhale, I’m reminded that God is still sustaining me. With every exhale, I’m reminded that praise is my response.

His Mercies Are New Every Morning

There’s something powerful about the way God resets the day. No matter what yesterday held—mistakes, stress, disappointment, or even victories—God gives us a fresh start.

Lamentations 3:22–23 says it beautifully:

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”

Every sunrise is a declaration of God’s mercy.

Every morning is a reminder that grace is still flowing.

Every day is proof that God hasn’t given up on us.

I don’t rise to praise Him because I’m perfect.

I rise to praise Him because He is.

Grace That Never Runs Out

If mercy is God wiping the slate clean, grace is God filling it with blessings we don’t deserve.

Ephesians 2:8 reminds us that “it is by grace you have been saved.”

Not by effort.

Not by performance.

Not by perfection.

Grace is God’s unending, unearned, unstoppable love poured out on us daily.

And the more I reflect on His grace, the more I realize that praise isn’t just a response—it’s a lifestyle. It’s a posture. It’s a way of living that says:

“God, I see You.

I thank You.

I trust You.”

Choosing Praise—Every Day, in Every Season

Life will always give us reasons to complain, but God will always give us reasons to praise. Even on the hard days. Even in the waiting seasons. Even when we don’t understand what He’s doing.

David wrote, “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth” (Psalm 34:1).

Praise isn’t based on circumstances.

Praise is based on who God is.

And He is good.

He is faithful.

He is worthy.

A Daily Declaration

So here’s my heart’s cry:

Let there never be a day that I don’t rise to give God praise.

Not one.

Not ever.

As long as He gives me breath, I’ll give Him worship.

As long as His mercies meet me in the morning, I’ll meet Him with gratitude.

As long as His grace covers me, I’ll lift my hands, my voice, and my life in praise.

Because He deserves it.

Because He’s been too good.

Because He’s never failed me.

And He never will.
