God Hasn’t Forgotten You: A Devotional on His Faithfulness

There are seasons when it feels like everyone else is moving forward while you’re standing still. You celebrate others, but quietly wonder, “When will it be my turn?”

You pray… You wait… You hope… But nothing seems to shift.

It’s easy to feel forgotten — but God never forgets His children.

“The Lord will accomplish what concerns me.” — Psalm 138:8

God finishes what He starts.

1. God Is Working Behind the Scenes

In everyday life, His faithfulness looks like:

  • A door closing that would’ve harmed you

  • A delay that protected you

  • A relationship ending that freed you

  • A “no” that made room for a better “yes”

Faithfulness isn’t always loud — sometimes it’s subtle.

2. God Remembers Every Prayer You’ve Prayed

Not one tear, one prayer, or one moment of faith is wasted.

He remembers:

  • What you asked for

  • What you’re believing for

  • What you’re fighting through

  • What you’re waiting on

3. God’s Timing Is Always Perfect — Even When It Feels Late

He’s not slow. He’s strategic.

Try this today:

Write down one moment in your past where God came through for you. Let it remind you He’ll do it again.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for being faithful even when I can’t see what You’re doing. Strengthen my trust and remind me that You have not forgotten me. Amen.

Reflection Question:

Where have you seen God’s faithfulness in your life before?
