Who Is Jesus, and Why Does It Matter?
Whether you're curious, skeptical, brand new, or coming back after a long time away, you're welcome here. Five short steps. No pressure, no performance, no one watching.
Step 1 of 5
You were made on purpose, and you are loved
The Bible starts with a God who creates out of love. Not a distant force, but a Father who knows you by name, before you ever did anything right or wrong.
Before anything else, that's the starting point: you are wanted.
Step 2 of 5
Something is broken, and we all feel it
You don't need a Bible to know the world isn't the way it should be. We hurt people. People hurt us. We do things we promised ourselves we wouldn't. The Bible calls that sin, and it puts distance between us and God.
Notice the word all. Not just “bad people.” Everyone. That's not meant to shame you. It means you're not uniquely disqualified. We're all in the same boat, and no amount of trying harder fixes it.
Step 3 of 5
Jesus came to close the distance
Jesus is God who stepped into our world as a real man. He healed the sick, sat with outcasts, and loved people religious folks avoided. Then He did what we couldn't: He died on the cross to pay for our sin, and three days later He rose from the dead.
While we were yet sinners. He didn't wait for us to clean up first.
Step 4 of 5
It's a gift, not a grade
You can't earn this, and you can't lose it by not being good enough. Salvation is a gift you receive by trusting Jesus. Faith isn't having every answer. It's turning toward Him and saying, “I need You.”
Step 5 of 5
Where are you right now?
There's no wrong answer here. Pick the one that's honest.
