Sink or Walk: A Bible Game About Trusting God

Peter walked on water — until he looked at the wind. Every wave in this game is a distraction. Keep your eyes on Jesus and keep walking. (Sinking happens. Jesus is a very good catcher.)

Each wave gives you three responses. One walks, one sinks, and one is a sneaky trap that sounds holy but isn't. Think before you tap.

The wind ceased.

God still reigns.

“And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.” Matthew 14:32–33 “God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.” Psalm 47:8

Notice what Peter got right: he asked to come, he stepped out, and when he sank, he cried “Lord, save me.” Even his sinking prayer was a good prayer. The storm never got a vote on who was in charge.
