“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”Psalm 46:1
What the Bible says about
Anxiety & Worry
Worry tells you everything depends on you. God's Word reminds you that He is in control, and He cares for you.
What God says
Tap a verse to hide it and test your memory.
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”Philippians 4:6–7
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”1 Peter 5:7
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”Isaiah 26:3
Your battle plan
- Name each worry out loud to God, one by one, and hand it to Him specifically.
- Turn every “what if” into an “even if.” Write one of God's promises next to each fear.
- Stay in today. Ask, “What is the one faithful step I can take right now?”
Battle plan complete. Having done all, stand. (Ephesians 6:13)
Pray it
Lord, my mind won't rest. I give You every worry I've been carrying. Guard my heart with Your peace, keep my thoughts fixed on You, and help me trust You with tomorrow. Amen.
If anxiety is affecting your sleep, work, or daily life, please also talk with your doctor or a Christian counselor. Getting help is wise, not faithless.
What the Bible says about
Fear
Fear is real, but it doesn't get the final word. God's presence is greater than whatever is in front of you.
What God says
Tap a verse to hide it and test your memory.
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”Isaiah 41:10
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”2 Timothy 1:7
“What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.”Psalm 56:3
Your battle plan
- Speak Psalm 56:3 out loud the moment fear rises. Say it until you believe it.
- Ask what the fear is really telling you, then answer that lie with a truth from Scripture.
- Take one small step of courage today. Courage is obedience while you're still afraid.
Battle plan complete. Having done all, stand. (Ephesians 6:13)
Pray it
Father, I'm afraid. But You have not given me a spirit of fear. Fill me with Your power, Your love, and a sound mind. Hold my hand and walk me through this. Amen.
What the Bible says about
Depression & Hopelessness
A heavy heart is not a sign of weak faith. David, Elijah, and Jeremiah all felt crushed, and God met each of them right there.
What God says
Tap a verse to hide it and test your memory.
“Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.”Psalm 42:11
“The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”Psalm 34:18
“...weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”Psalm 30:5
Your battle plan
- Be honest with God like David was. Talk to your own soul and tell it to hope in God.
- Care for your body the way God cared for Elijah: rest, food, and fresh air (1 Kings 19:5–8).
- Don't carry this alone. Tell a trusted friend or pastor, and talk with a doctor or counselor.
Battle plan complete. Having done all, stand. (Ephesians 6:13)
Pray it
Lord, I feel heavy and I can't see the way out. Be close to my broken heart. Give me strength for today and hope for tomorrow, and bring the right people to help me. Amen.
If you ever have thoughts of ending your life, please call or text 988 (US) right away. You matter.

“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”Deuteronomy 31:6
“God setteth the solitary in families...”Psalm 68:6
“...and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.”Matthew 28:20
Your battle plan

- Plant yourself in community: a small group, a church ministry, or a place to serve.
Battle plan complete. Having done all, stand. (Ephesians 6:13)
Pray it
Lord, I feel so alone. Thank You that You never leave me. Make Your presence real to me today, and lead me to people who will walk with me. Amen.
What the Bible says about
Grief & Loss
Grief is love with nowhere to go. Even Jesus wept. You don't have to rush your healing, and you don't grieve without hope.
What God says
Tap a verse to hide it and test your memory.
“Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.”Matthew 5:4
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”Revelation 21:4
“...that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.”1 Thessalonians 4:13
Your battle plan
- Give yourself permission to grieve. Bring God your raw feelings; the Psalms show He can handle them.
- Let others carry you. Accept the meals, the calls, and the prayers.
- Hold on to the hope of heaven, where every tear will be wiped away.
Battle plan complete. Having done all, stand. (Ephesians 6:13)
Pray it
God of all comfort, my heart is broken. Hold me in this ache that words can't reach. Comfort me, carry me, and remind me that this is not the end of the story. Amen.
What the Bible says about
Anger
Anger itself isn't always sin, but what you do with it matters. God offers a better way than exploding or stuffing it down.
What God says
Tap a verse to hide it and test your memory.
“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath.”Ephesians 4:26
“...let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.”James 1:19–20
“He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.”Proverbs 16:32
Your battle plan
- Pause before you respond. Breathe and silently pray, “Lord, set a guard over my mouth.”

Pray it
Lord, cool the heat in my heart. Show me what's really going on inside me. Make me slow to anger and quick to grace, the way You are with me. Amen.
What the Bible says about
Forgiving Someone Who Hurt You
Forgiveness doesn't say what they did was okay. It hands the debt to God so it stops controlling you.
What God says
Tap a verse to hide it and test your memory.

Your battle plan
- Name exactly what you're forgiving, and tell God honestly how much it hurt.
- Choose to release them to God. When the hurt comes back, choose again.
- Remember: forgiveness isn't the same as trust. You can forgive and still keep healthy boundaries.
Battle plan complete. Having done all, stand. (Ephesians 6:13)
Pray it
Father, You forgave me when I didn't deserve it. I choose to release this person to You. Heal what they broke, and guard my heart from bitterness. Amen.
What the Bible says about
Guilt & Shame
Guilt says “I did something wrong.” Shame says “I am something wrong.” Jesus answers both at the cross.

- When shame whispers again, answer it out loud with Romans 8:1.

Jesus, I confess this to You. Thank You that Your blood covers it all. Lift the weight of shame off me, and help me receive the grace You've already given. Amen.

What God says
Tap a verse to hide it and test your memory.

- Plan your “way of escape” ahead of time, and take it the moment temptation shows up.
- Tell one trusted believer and ask them to check in with you.
Battle plan complete. Having done all, stand. (Ephesians 6:13)
Pray it
Jesus, You were tempted and never sinned. Give me Your strength right now. Show me the way of escape and give me the courage to take it. Amen.

- Remove access and triggers, and take it one day, one hour, at a time.
Battle plan complete. Having done all, stand. (Ephesians 6:13)
Pray it
Lord, I can't break this on my own. I need You. Set me free, surround me with the right people, and give me strength for just this day. Amen.

Lord, humble my heart. Root out the pride I can't even see. Remind me that every breath I have is borrowed from You. Amen.
