“I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice.”2 Timothy 1:5

Blended & Co-Parenting: Faith in Two Houses

The other parent isn’t a believer. The stepkids resist you. Sunday is at Dad’s. No shame here. Just help.

Timothy had a believing mother and a Greek father who, as far as we can tell, wasn’t in the picture spiritually. Paul didn’t write that off; he said Timothy’s sincere faith came from his mom and grandma. Esther was raised by a cousin. Jesus Himself was raised by a stepfather named Joseph who chose a kid that wasn’t biologically his. The Bible is full of families that don’t fit the Christmas card. This tool is for yours: eight real two-house situations, what helps, what backfires, and the Scripture that holds it together.

Built on 2 Timothy 1:5, Matthew 1:18–25, Esther 2:7, Ruth 1:16, 1 Peter 3:1–2, Romans 12:18 and Deuteronomy 6:7. For encouragement, not legal or custody advice; a counselor who works with blended families is a gift.
