“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”2 Corinthians 12:9

Thorn in the Flesh

Faith with chronic illness, chronic pain and disability: for the prayer that hasn’t been answered the way you hoped.

You’ve been prayed over more times than you can count. Someone at church told you that you’d be healed if you had more faith. You can’t serve the way you used to, can’t always make it to Sunday service, and some days getting dressed is the whole victory. Paul asked God three times to remove his thorn. God said no, and said something better: My grace is enough. This is for you, and for the people who love you and don’t know what to say.
