Discussion questions

  • What surprised you most in the Newlywed Game?
  • Which “thermostat war” is real in your house, and what would “serve first” look like this week?
  • Ephesians 4:2 says “forbearing one another in love.” Where do you need extra grace from each other right now?
“Lord, thank You for these marriages. Teach us to serve first, forgive fast and laugh often. Make our homes places of peace. Amen.”
📋 Leader note: keep it light and celebratory, and never put a couple on the spot. If anyone shares that home doesn’t feel safe, follow up privately and share the National Domestic Violence Hotline: 1-800-799-7233 (US), or text START to 88788.

💁🏾 Singles’ Night

  5. 0:55Pray together.

Discussion questions

  • Which green-flag question would you actually ask on a first coffee date?
“Lord, thank You that we are whole in You right now. Guard our hearts, give us wisdom, and fill this season with purpose. Amen.”
📋 Leader note: celebrate singleness as a full life, not a waiting room. Avoid “your time is coming” language.

The flow

  1. 0:00Little-ones table: Find the Lost Sheep and Ark Memory Match on tablets as families arrive.

Discussion questions (kid-friendly)

  • Why did God tell Joshua to march instead of fight?
  • Who did the Good Shepherd go looking for? Who does Jesus look for today?
  • What’s one thing your family is thankful for this week?
“Dear God, thank You for our families and our church family. Help us listen to You, love each other and always say thank You. Amen.”
📋 Leader note: pair every child with a family or a cleared volunteer, follow your church’s child-safety policy, and check snack ideas for allergies.

The flow

  4. 0:45Creative: everyone makes a Testimony Trailer. Volunteers read theirs in the movie-trailer voice. 🎬
  5. 1:00Small groups + prayer.

Discussion questions

  • Which impostor was hardest to spot, and why?

  • Saul was “sus” until God changed him. Who might you be writing off?
“Jesus, give us wisdom to recognize Your voice and courage to follow it, even when it isn’t popular. Amen.”

  5. 0:55Tournament: fastest time in Church Parking Lot Escape wins a dessert.
  6. 1:05Thanksgiving + prayer for the church family.

  • What’s a church memory that still makes you laugh?
  • How can we make the next visitor feel at home?
“Lord, thank You for this church family, every Prayer Warrior, Usher With The Look and Parking Lot Fellowshipper. Knit us together in love. Amen.”
📋 Leader note: works great with Jamaican congregations too. The Patois versions: Wah Dem Call Yuh a Church?, Confessions of a Church Pickney and Escape di Church Yard.
