“It takes eleven days to go from Horeb to Kadesh Barnea by the Mount Seir road.” — Deuteronomy 1:2
40 Years or 11 Days?
Faith in the Wilderness. The GPS said 11 days. Israel took 40 years. Let’s see how long you take.
God never got lost. Israel kept complaining, U-turning toward Egypt, and building cows out of earrings. 😅 Now it’s your turn. Nine real wilderness stops, from the Red Sea to the Jordan, each one matched with a real-life season. Every choice earns a memorial stone or adds years to your trip. Gather manna (don’t hoard it), wait when the cloud waits, and move when it moves. The wilderness is not a detour. It’s the classroom.
How it works: 9 stations, 3 manna mornings, and 1 Selah stop. Your Wilderness GPS tracks your trip length, your laps around the mountain, and the stones you collect. Murmur and it adds years. Head back toward Egypt and it adds more. At the end you build your own memorial altar (Joshua 4) out of the stones you earned.
Built on Exodus 14–17 and 32, Numbers 9, 11, 13–14, Deuteronomy 1:2, 2:3, 2:7 and 8:2–4, Joshua 3–4 and Isaiah 55:8–9. Funny on purpose, true on purpose. Not a substitute for wise counsel in a hard season.
