Holy or Hungry?
Is your ambition building His kingdom, or your brand?
Some Christians think wanting more is worldly. Others are climbing so fast they can’t remember why. The Bible says something better: ambition isn’t the problem. What it’s attached to is. Let’s check the attachment.
🍽️ Holy or Hungry?
Twelve real ambitions. Sort each one: holy (aimed at God and people), hungry (aimed at me), or heart check (could go either way).
🏗️ Whose name is on the building?
Two stories, one chapter apart, with the exact same desire: a great name. The difference is who’s holding the hammer.
Self-made, self-protected, self-named. It ended in confusion.
God-made, received, and given away as a blessing to others.
The question isn’t “Should I want a great name?” It’s “Am I building it, or receiving it? And is it for me, or for the people it’s meant to bless?”
Ambitions the Bible actually endorses
🏔️ Why is it lonely up here?
Success has a way of shrinking the circle. Fewer people tell you the truth, more people want something, and pride quietly moves you into a room by yourself. Tap each story.
🩺 Heart check: what fuels your climb?
Five quick questions. Be honest; nobody sees this but you.
✍️ Write your ambition, with the “for” attached
Most ambitions are missing the last few words. Fill them in.
Nothing you type is saved or sent anywhere.
Keep climbing, wisely
Ambition needs guardrails. These go deeper on the parts that usually break first.
