“I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.”Philippians 4:11
Single and Whole
For single Christians who are tired of being treated like they’re in a waiting room.
If you’re single in church, you’ve probably been asked “So, are you seeing anyone?” at every wedding, baby shower and potluck. Maybe you’ve been set up with the only other single person in the building. Here’s what the church sometimes forgets: Jesus was single. Paul was single and called it a gift. Singleness isn’t a holding pattern before real life starts. It’s a real life, with a real calling, right now. Whether you’re never-married, divorced, widowed, or single again, you belong here.
Built on 1 Corinthians 7:7 and 32–35, Philippians 4:11–13, Colossians 2:10, Psalm 68:6, Isaiah 56:3–5, Mark 3:35 and Romans 12:15.
