“We are not unaware of his schemes.”2 Corinthians 2:11

The Devil Got a Makeover 💄

Spiritual warfare for the modern Christian. Same enemy. New outfit. Same playbook.

A lot of us picture spiritual warfare as a Bible-times thing (serpents, giants, a man in the tombs) or a horror movie. So we miss it when it shows up as a notification, a comment section, a 3 a.m. thought spiral, or a church split over the color of the carpet. The devil didn’t retire. He rebranded. His marketing department is, frankly, very good. But his playbook hasn’t changed since Genesis 3, which means once you learn it, you can spot it in any outfit. And the end of the story hasn’t changed either.

Before you start: no fear here. This isn’t about seeing demons behind every bush. “Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4). The point of knowing his schemes is to stop being surprised by them.

Built on Ephesians 6:10–18, 2 Corinthians 2:11 and 10:3–5, Genesis 3, 1 Peter 5:8–9, James 1:14 and 4:7, John 8:44, Revelation 12:10 and 1 John 4:4. Christians and churches differ on deliverance practices; this page stays with what Scripture says plainly. Not a substitute for pastoral care, medical care, or licensed counseling.
