“These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road.”Deuteronomy 6:6–7

The Talk, by Age

Not one awkward conversation. A hundred small, honest ones, starting with body safety for toddlers.

If you don’t teach your kids about their bodies and God’s design, someone else will: a friend on the bus, a search result, an algorithm, or someone with bad intentions. Kids who have clear words, clear rules and a parent they can tell anything are much safer. This guide walks you stage by stage: what to say, what to never say, and how to build the kind of trust where your child comes to you first.

If you suspect a child is being abused, call Childhelp at 1-800-422-4453 or your local child protective services. If a child is in immediate danger, call 911.

Built on Deuteronomy 6:6–7, Psalm 139:13–14, Proverbs 22:6, Genesis 1:27 and 2:24, Matthew 18:6 and 1 Corinthians 6:19–20.
