“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit…? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”1 Corinthians 6:19–20

Your Body, His Design

Biblical sexuality without the shame: why God designed it, what purity culture got wrong, and grace for every story.

A lot of us learned about sex at church as a list of don’ts, sometimes with a chewed-up piece of gum as the illustration. Some came away terrified, some came away ashamed, and some decided the whole thing was hopeless. Scripture tells a better story. Sex is God’s idea, and He called it good. His design is a covenant between a husband and a wife, and His grace covers every past. This is for adults and older teens (13+): honest, not explicit.

If someone has hurt you sexually, it is not your sin and it is not your fault. RAINN: 1-800-656-4673. If you’re a minor being harmed, Childhelp: 1-800-422-4453. In crisis, call or text 988.
