Get Even or Get Right?

For everyone who has ever rehearsed a comeback in the shower.

Someone stole your parking spot. Took credit for your idea. Microwaved fish in the office. Your flesh has a plan, and it involves reply-all. Ten petty moments, three choices each: full petty, passive-aggressive, or the Romans 12 move. Watch the Pettiness Meter, collect your revenge receipts, then try the Bible’s most savage strategy: heaping burning coals.

“Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’”Romans 12:19

🛡️ One thing first: leaving revenge to God doesn’t mean ignoring abuse, crime or danger. Reporting harm, setting boundaries and seeking justice are not revenge. This game is about the petty stuff.

Built on Romans 12:14–21, Proverbs 20:22, 24:29 and 25:21–22, Matthew 5:43–44 and 18:15, James 1:19–20 and 1 Peter 3:9. Scripture quoted from the World English Bible (public domain). No fish were microwaved in the making of this game.
