Let Them Carry the Mat

Asking for help isn’t weak. Receiving it is biblical.

“Four people came, carrying a paralytic to him… Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, ‘Son, your sins are forgiven you.’”Mark 2:3, 5

The man on the mat didn’t get to Jesus on his own strength. He had to let four friends carry him, through a crowd and a roof. And notice: Jesus saw their faith. Sometimes the bravest, most faithful thing you can do is let someone else carry you for a while.
