Train Up a Child

Teach your kids the basics of life and living God’s way, at their level. Eleven fun tools, one simple weekly rhythm, and lots of grace for you.

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”Proverbs 22:6

🛠️ How it works

Every topic has the same four parts, so your kids know what to expect.

THIS CERTIFIES THAT

Your Name Here

is Growing Up Strong, God’s Way!

Learning to work hard, speak kindly, honor others, wait well, make peace, tell the truth, be thankful, care for God’s temple and love our neighbors.

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.”Luke 2:52

💛 A word for you, parent

You will not do this perfectly. Some weeks the chart will stay blank. Some days you’ll lose your temper five minutes after teaching Peacemaker. That’s okay. Kids don’t need perfect parents. They need parents who keep coming back, who say “I’m sorry” too, and who point them to a God who is patient with all of us.

Single parents, grandparents raising grandkids, foster and adoptive families, blended families: this is for you too. Start with one topic. That’s plenty.

“You fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.”Ephesians 6:4
